Lyon striker Moussa Dembele would prefer to join Manchester United over Chelsea. The 23-year-old has been linked with both Premier League giants for the past year. Dembele has scored 31 goals in 60 Ligue 1 appearances since joining Lyon from Celtic in 2018. Mesut Ozil will be an Arsenal player next season, according to his agent Erkut Sogut. The 31-year-old, who has been linked with a move to Turkish club Fenerbahce, has one year left on his lucrative £350,000-a-week deal, and he plans to see his contract out. Sogut said: “When his contract with Arsenal will expire, the favourites would be Fenerbahce. We are also working on that front.” (football.london)

Sporting Lisbon president Frederico Varandas says Manchester United could have signed Bruno Fernandes for just £17m if they had waited a few months. The Portugal midfielder, who cost the Red Devils £68m, has been a revelation at Old Trafford, scoring three goals and registering four assists in only nine appearances. Player transfer values are expected to plummet due to the coronavirus pandemic, and Varandas does not believe he would have got a hefty fee for Fernandes this summer. (FULL STORY)

Arsenal are hoping to keep Real Madrid loanee Dani Ceballos until the end of the 2019/20 Premier League season. On Monday, an agreement among Premier League clubs was reached regarding loan players staying at their temporary teams beyond the end of their loan deals when football returns. However, both club and player will have to approve the decision to extend any deal. It is understood the Gunners are not interested in re-signing Ceballos next season, however. (El Confidencial)

Barcelona are keeping tabs on Tottenham defender Juan Foyth. The Argentina international has struggled for playing time since Jose Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs last November.
