EA have today unveiled a brand new Ultimate Team promo for FIFA 21 called Deadline Day.
As the transfer window comes to a close today, EA are rewarding players who entitle their full game by October 9 by giving four guaranteed Ones to Watch Loan Items and one untradeable TOTW player. To celebrate the launch of FIFA 21, players who jump into the full game on PS4, Xbox One, or PC by midnight (pacific time) on October 9 will be granted the all-new Deadline Day pack .
This includes FIFA Ultimate Team Ones To Watch Live Loan Items with some of the summer’s most exciting transfers, alongside an untradeable Team of the Week Player Item.
The Deadline Day offer is available to all players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (including EA Play Pro Members) who log in to the full version of FIFA 21 by October 9, 2020 at 11:59PM PT.

A pre-order is not required for this offer, but you will still receive any relevant pre-order bonuses if you’ve pre-ordered. The offer excludes the EA Play Trial version of FIFA 21.
If you open your pack while the first Ones To Watch squad is in packs (October 9 – October 16), you will receive four players from that squad. If you open your pack while the second Ones To Watch squad is in packs (October 16 – October 21), you will receive four players from the second squad. If you open your pack after October 21 at 10am PT you will receive four players from a mix of the first and second squads.
The Ones To Watch Loan Items are live items that dynamically upgrade in the same way as regular Ones To Watch Items when players qualify for an upgrade via performance-based in-forms. The Ones To Watch Loan Items will be available for four FUT matches which you can use throughout the season across FUT. The Deadline Day Pack will be granted to eligible players on or before October 16.
Players who jump into FIFA 21 can also benefit from Dual Entitlement, enabling them to upgrade their copy of the game from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X at no extra cost.
All progress made or content acquired within FIFA 21 Ultimate Team (including players, items, coins, FIFA Points, match record, and leaderboard placement), as well as all progression in VOLTA FOOTBALL will transfer over to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.
EA have also confirmed that the TOTW release time will be changing for FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. Previously, TOTW squads were revealed on social media at 3pm UK time on a Wednesday, with the TOTW squad being released into packs from 6pm on the same day.
However for FUT 21, EA have confirmed that TOTW lineups will be revealed at 6pm UK time on a Wednesday, with the squad getting released into packs at the same time.
FIFA 21 has an official UK and worldwide release date of October 9, 2020, but some editions will allow you to play FIFA 21 earlier than this. EA Play subscribers will be able to access a ten-hour trial of FIFA 21 from Thursday October 1, 2020.
If you pre-order the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC you’ll be able to play from October 6, 2020, with the Standard Edition allowing fans to play from the game’s official UK and worldwide release date of October 9, 2020.
