Premier League champions Liverpool host newly-promoted Leeds in a mouthwatering clash to open up the new Premier League season.


Just a few short weeks after the 2019/20 season ended, the Premier League is back and set for another hectic campaign.


Jurgen Klopp’s Reds romped to the title last term and have now be joined in the top-flight by Leeds following their 16-year stint away.


Both clubs expect big things this season and this should be an exciting clash at Anfield.

Liverpool v Leeds: Date and kick-off time


This match will be held at Anfield on Saturday, September 12 and will kick-off at 5:30pm.


These two last met in the quarter-finals of the 2016/17 EFL Cup with the Reds claiming a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Divock Origi and Ben Woodburn.


Their last league clash was in February 2004 with Milan Baros levelling the match 2-2 at Elland Road.
