The free version of the Network is available from today, June 1.

Some of the content you can watch for nothing that you previously couldn’t includes:

  • New shows including Raw Talk, streaming Monday nights each week immediately following Raw

  • Groundbreaking original series including Monday Night War, Ride Along, Table for 3, Photo Shoot and Story Time

  • Recent episodes of WWE’s flagship programs Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown and NXT

  • Select historical WWE pay-per-views and NXT TakeOver events

  • Weekly WWE highlights, Top 10WWE’s The BumpWWE Now, The Best of WWE and WWE Timeline

Fans who pay for the Network now are essentially paying for the monthly pay-per-views from both WWE and NXT.

World-class documentaries like The Undertaker’s Last Ride series are also included.

When WWE says ‘recent’ episodes of RAW, SmackDown and NXT, they will be episodes that are four weeks behind what is airing on TV. This is to provide worth to their TV deals with USA and FOX.

It has also emerged that Samoa Joe and Charley Caruso will host Raw Talk, starting tonight immediately after RAW (June 1).

Speaking about the launch, WWE says they hope this free offering will help them reach a new group of fans.

“The launch of WWE Network’s Free Version is a key component of our company’s digitisation strategy and a new way for all fans to be able to experience premium WWE content,” said Jayar Donlan, WWE Executive Vice President, Advanced Media.

“As we continue to reimagine WWE Network’s offering, the Free Version will serve as an effective way to reach a broader group of consumers and allow them to experience the history and spectacle of WWE.”
