Tyson Fury took a few minutes out of his day to speak to an ecstatic young fan on Instagram Live this week.

The WBC heavyweight champion has been running stay-home workouts almost every day during the coronavirus lockdown, further establishing his status as a ‘people’s champion’.

At the end of his sessions, the ‘Gypsy King’ has now started going live with some of those taking part from home.

Most recently, he spoke to Luca, who could not believe his eyes when he realised he was in conversation with his idol.

His father said: “I’ve been doing the workout, but it’s him, it’s my boy who’s been desperate to see you and speak to you.

“Luca is obsessed, he’s absolutely your top fan, he keeps beating me up every other week in a fight.

Fury then further delighted Luca by promising to send him some merchandise in the post.

The boy’s face said it all.
