Chelsea will try to buy Ben Chilwell after wrapping up the signing of Timo Werner, but they’ll have to pay £60m for the Leicester ace. The Blues, who will shell out £53m on RB Leipzig striker Werner, have been long-term admirers of the England left-back. Furthermore, Chilwell is thought to be open to the idea of moving to Stamford Bridge this summer. But the Foxes have set a £60m asking price having held out for £80m for Harry Maguire last summer. – FULL STORY

Arsenal want to sign Norwich ace Max Aarons but are unwilling to match his £30m asking price. The Norwich academy graduate has caught the eye throughout the 2019/20 Premier League season and he’s also been linked with Tottenham. The Gunners are keenest admirers, however, but their transfer funds will be restricted this summer and they may not be able to splash out £30m on one player. (Norwich Evening News)

Liverpool may challenge Manchester United and Real Madrid in the race to sign Jadon Sancho. England ace Sancho is one of the most in-demand players in European football after his incredible season with Borussia Dortmund, and an asking price of plus-£100m has been mooted. The Red Devils are long-term admirers of the former Man City ace and are considered favourites to secure his services, but Jurgen Klopp remains keen with Liverpool now monitoring Sancho’s situation. Man United have started negotiating to sign Thiago Almada from Velez Sarsfield in Argentina. The 19-year-old midfielder is also wanted by Arsenal and is expected to move for £20m due to a release clause in his contract. Almada has scored five goals this season and has previously been compared to Man City great David Silva. (Fichajes)

Manchester City and Chelsea are battling to sign Houssem Aouar, the highly-rated Lyons midfielder. Aouar, 21, is considered one of the best young players in Europe and he was expected to leave Lyons last summer. However, he remained in France for one further season and should depart over the next couple of months, with the Ligue 1 club hoping to cash in amid interest in Aouar from Man City and Chelsea. Udinese are still extremely interested in signing Matty Longstaff from Newcastle United, but he could end up at Watford. The 20-year-old midfielder will be out of contract at St James’ Park when the current season eventually ends and has put a host of top clubs on alert. Internazionale and Marseille have retained an interest in the player, but Serie A side Udinese seems to be his most likely destination. Udinese are still keen to make Longstaff their highest paid player on £30,000-a-week, but he could well end up playing at Vicarage Road next season. The relationship between Watford and Udinese comes from the Pozzo family, who own both clubs. (Watford Observer)

Ray Parlour is ‘praying’ Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signs a new Arsenal deal – but he’s well aware the Gunners MUST sell their star striker if he refuses a contract extension. Aubameyang’s existing contract has slightly over a year to run, expiring at the end of next season, and it has been expected talks over a new deal would shortly begin. However, the latest reports claim Arsenal have not begun negotiations with the Gabon forward, and the worry for Arsenal is that, if Aubameyang does not want to sign a new contract, they could lose their most prized asset for FREE next summer when his deal expires. And Parlour, the Gunners great, made it clear that cashing in on Aubameyang is the only option for Arsenal if he does refuse to sign a new deal. – FULL STORY
