Thomas Muller has signed a new two-year contract extension with Bayern Munich.
The 30-year-old had been linked with a Bayern exit earlier this season with Manchester United reportedly reigniting their interest in one of their long-term targets.

Muller, whose new deal runs until 2023, has rediscovered his form with the Bavarians under boss Hans-Dieter Flick after struggling for playing time during Niko Kovac’s reign.
He told Bayern Munich’s official website: “Both sides signed with a really good feeling. I’m sure that once we’re playing again, we’ll continue to be very successful. That spurs me on.
“For me, the number one priority was to extend at FC Bayern – and the club felt the same way.
“I’ve been with FC Bayern for a good two-thirds of my life now, so you can’t say that the club and I are just along for the ride – we fight for each other.
“This club is not just any old employer for me. It’s my passion. I’m happy that I’ll be here for two extra years, and I’ll give everything on and off the pitch.”

Muller has scored 195 goals and registered 146 assists in 521 appearances since making his Bayern debut in 2008.
The Germany international admitted last October he would consider leaving Bayern if his playing time did not improve.
He said: “If the coaching staff see me as a sub in the future, I will have to think about my situation.
“I’m too ambitious to not do that.”
It led to fresh reports linking Muller to Manchester United.
The Red Devils were interested in signing Muller in 2014, but the forward had no intention of leaving Germany.
When asked about United’s bid, he said: “Yes, I knew I could earn more by moving.
“The figures that foreign clubs were talking about for me were astronomical. I can only say a change was never really an issue for me anyway. FC Bayern is my club.”
