It’s one of the most popular streaming services around the world, and now Netflix has finally introduced a feature that users have been pleading for.
The TV service will finally let you turn off autoplay – both for the next episode in a series, and for trailers while browsing.
Netflix tweeted the update, writing: “Some people find this feature helpful. Others not so much.
“We’ve heard the feedback loud and clear — members can now control whether or not they see autoplay previews on Netflix.”
The update has come as music to the ears of many viewers, who flocked to Twitter to discuss the change.
One user replied: “Literally no one found this feature useful. THANK GOD you have finally freed us from this horrific nightmare.”
Another added: “Name and shame the people who found it helpful.”
And one joked: “I would also appreciate not being asked if I’m still watching. I’M ALWAYS STILL WATCHING.”
