Odion Ighalo could make his debut for Manchester United when they visit Chelsea in the Premier League next week.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the United manager, has confirmed January signing Ighalo will be named in the travelling squad for the Stamford Bridge clash on Monday.
A shock deadline day arrival at Old Trafford, former Watford forward Ighalo was brought in on loan from Shanghai Shenhua after Solskjaer’s month-long search for a new centre-forward.

The Nigeria international will remain with the Red Devils until the end of the season, and is expected to provide cover for the injured Marcus Rashford.
There were fears he may not play until March at the earliest given his deadline day arrival in England, and the fact he missed United’s warm-weather training camp during the Premier League winter break increased such concerns.
Solskjaer said last weekend that the club had left Ighalo in the UK as they were unsure whether he would be allowed to return to the country amid the coronavirus epidemic, having arrived from China in the previous fortnight.
But despite missing the trip to Marbella, Solskjaer has confirmed the striker will go straight into United’s squad taking on Chelsea after the winter break.
“Yeah, he is going to travel with us,” Solskjaer told club media. “We will just see his fitness work this week and I think we will get him sharp.

“We want to integrate him as quickly as we can because, of course, he is desperate to play for us.”
Ighalo’s fellow January signing Bruno Fernandes made his debut against Wolves in Man United’s final fixture before the winter break,
He is expected to remain in the starting XI for the trip to Stamford Bridge, with a win for the Red Devils moving them to within three points of the top four.
