The struggle was real for Carlton Cole on his talkSPORT debut on Wednesday, as he appeared to suffer from a case of the Alan Brazils.


The former West Ham striker was making his first appearance as a regular co-host on the talkSPORT airwaves on Wednesday but got a bit tongue tied at one point!

Regular Breakfast listeners will know all about Alan Bernard Brazil’s struggles, as he often gets in a muddle trying to pronounce some of the most basic words – who can forget his iconic ‘deepeths depths’ moment?


And us at talkSPORT towers couldn’t help but chuckle when Cole was left stumbling over the same word Mr Brazil often trips over – ‘hypocritical’.


It can’t be that hard, can it? It’s pretty basic English, that.


Well… apparently not.


And, as per usual, Ally McCoist was so hysterical he could barely breathe, while Laura Woods made a noise that wouldn’t have sounded out of place in Jurassic Park.








Carlton Cole attempts to say the word ‘hypocritical’ and we assure you it’s the best thing you’ll see all day!


And it’s a good thing Carlton is a good sport, as he was getting plenty of stick on Twitter, including from a few former Hammers teammates!


He took it on the chin, though. What a bloke.
