The 2019/20 season has only just ended but the Premier League is almost back and so is Dream Team fantasy football.

Liverpool star Alisson is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers’ in the Premier League but on Dream Team he’s a tad expensive at £3.5million
Often maligned for their errors, which can cost goals, but so important to a side if they have any ambitions of glory, you can never truly win if the gloves are on your hands.
The swing from hero to villain is swift – even more so when it comes to Fantasy Football with five points for a clean sheet and three for a penalty save.

Nick Pope (Burnley) – £3m
The most expensive of our cheap and cheerful glovesman, Pope is not a huge bargain, costing the same as David de Gea and Hugo Lloris.
However, the reason you need to be landing the Clarets’ No.1 is that he doesn’t play for a ‘Big Six’ side.
Having Pope in your XI will allow you to draft in more stars from top clubs but also give you a decent return with Sean Dyche’s backline looking like it will remain untouched once again.

Bernd Leno/Emiliano Martinez (Arsenal) – £2.5m
Two for the price of one – sort of. This is a developing situation so well worth keeping your eyes on it but the Gunners now have two top shot-stoppers.
Their involvement in the Europa League and the Carabao Cup means whichever one you pick right now you’re set to do well, plus Mikel Arteta is working on that defence big time.
Whoever is in between the sticks will now have William Saliba and, almost certainly, Gabriel ahead of them, plus Kieran Tierney, who is becoming a bigger presence for Arsenal with every game.

Tom Heaton (Aston Villa) – £2m
It’s a name you haven’t heard for some time, due to injuries, but the Villans’ shot-stopper is back at it again and ready to be a key player for manager Dean Smith.
Routinely one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, despite not playing for a top club, Heaton can get you plenty of points this season, especially if the players ahead of him are improved upon.

Alex McCarthy (Southampton) – £2m
One of the top five goalkeepers in the Premier League, according to advanced goalkeeping statistics.
The Englishman has done well since the Ralph Hasenhuttl revolution got into full swing and he should post up similar excellent numbers this year, especially with Mohammed Salisu joining from Real Valladolid.
He might even help the Saints sneak a European spot.
Southampton goalkeeper McCarthy is set for a big season
Mat Ryan (Brighton) – £2m
With Ben White returning and set to take on a bigger role with the Seagulls, Graham Potter is continuing their evolution.
This could see the south coast side keeping a tighter defence than in recent seasons and one man who should benefit is the Australian international.
Already a fine goalkeeper, the addition of another excellent centre-back and the fact a starlet like Tariq Lamptey is set for a full season means clean sheets should be on the rise at the Amex Stadium.
Ryan has been an excellent player for Brighton since their arrival in the Premier League
