Manchester United join Liverpool, Chelsea and Leeds in race to sign Brighton defender Ben White who is valued at £50m
Brighton defender Ben White is reportedly being courted by every top six club in the Premier League.
White, 22, had an excellent loan spell with Leeds last season, helping them win promotion, and his fine form hasn’t gone unnoticed.
The Elland Road outfit have already had two bids rejected for the defender, as they attempt to re-sign White but this time on a permanent basis.
But Leeds are not alone in wanting White as Liverpool and Chelsea have enquired about his availability, with Tottenham, Leicester and Manchester City also interested.
And The Sun claim Manchester United now also want the player who is valued by Brighton at around £50million.
The news will come as a blow to Marcelo Bielsa, who had hoped to have already a completed a deal for White by this stage of the summer.

Brighton have made it clear they do not want to sell White, who is yet to play a single game in the English top-flight.
Seagulls boss Graham Potter views the defender as a vital part of his long-term plans on the south coast, and wants him to form a formidable looking back three alongside Adam Webster and Lewis Dunk – who has also attracted interest from Chelsea.
