Daniel Dubois: The quiet heavyweight with a ‘Dynamite’ KO reel who has sparred Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua
Daniel Dubois has made quite a lot of noise in his short career so far, despite being reluctant to open his mouth.
The 22-year-old is heading into his 15th professional fight this weekend – full coverage live on talkSPORT – and is expected to remain unbeaten and secure a crunch clash with Joe Joyce in October.

Since his debut back in 2017, Dubois has garnered more and more attention as he’s recorded more and more destructive knockouts.
He is now widely considered one of the top heavyweight prospect in world boxing.
The man nicknamed ‘Dynamite’ undoubtedly lives up to his moniker.
His highlight-reel of KOs is something to behold.
“Daniel Dubois is an animal, he’s one of a kind,” fellow young prospect Conor Benn told talkSPORT.com in a recent interview.
“He doesn’t have to say much, he does the talking in the ring. So when he gets in there he’s down to business.
“You know when you look at him, he ain’t thinking about nothing but putting you face down on the deck.
“That’s the sort of fighter I like, that’s my sort of fighter. He ain’t loud, he don’t talk, he just goes in there and takes care of business.”

Dubois’ development began as an amateur at Dale Youth and is now flourishing as a professional with Martin Bowers at the Peacock Gym.
Amidst his regular training, Dubois has also picked up significant experience sparring top names in recent years.
During a stint with Team GB he met and shared the ring with Anthony Joshua.
There were rumours Dubois had floored Joshua in sparring to which he replied on GMB: “We had great wars, great gym spars. I did well in sparring. He’ll tell you himself, I did really well.”

He sparred an out-of-shape Fury in 2017
Prior to his first pro fight, he also had a session with Tyson Fury.
He told talkSPORT.com: “I got to punch him in the face. It was a fun experience when I was about 19.
“It was before my debut so getting in the ring with Tyson and Hughie Fury and that lot up there was good experience. It was a good setup.”
And more recently, he also flew out to Russia and worked with Alexander Povetkin.
Dubois will meet Joyce on October 24, if he comes through on Saturday
Now, Dubois is no longer at the stage of being a sparring partner for other top heavyweights.
He is instead ready to push on and making himself one of the premier names in boxing.
