After Anthony Martial scored Manchester United’s first hat-trick in SEVEN YEARS, here is every Premier League club’s last player to bag a treble

Anthony Martial became Manchester United’s first hat-trick hero in SEVEN YEARS following his treble against Sheffield United.

It is a scarcely believable fact given the stature of the club and signifies just how much the Red Devils have declined since the great Sir Alex Ferguson retired.

However, it cannot be disputed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are moving in the right direction.

Their convincing 3-0 victory over the Blades was their 13th match unbeaten in all competitions and the addition of Bruno Fernandes seems to have finally kicked their attack into gear.

Martial’s treble saw him become the first Red Devil to score a league hat-trick since Robin van Persie hit a trevle as United wrapped up the title against Aston Villa in April 2013.
