O2 giving away six months of Disney+ for free with upgrades to latest plans

O2 is offering six months of free access to Disney+ to customers upgrading.

Any new or existing customers who signs up for one of the mobile phone network provider’s latest pay monthly plans will be eligible for the offer.

Those who aren’t due an upgrade, or who don’t want to change plans, can add Disney+ to their account for an additional £5.99 a month. O2 will then take £2 off your bill each month.

Disney+ is set to launch on 24 March and will offer customers access to thousands of TV shows and films from an iconic stable of entertainment brands, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic.

This week O2 also announced they are now the exclusive UK mobile network distributor of the highly anticipated streaming service.

The move means O2 customers can experience Disney+ wherever they want, including access on their mobile, online streaming from a laptop or via a TV.

Speaking about the partnership, Mark Evans, CEO of O2, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Disney to bring these incredible shows and movies to our customers, demonstrating that there are more reasons than ever to join the UK’s No.1 network.”

Jan Koeppen, President, The Walt Disney Company EMEA added: We’re delighted to work with the award-winning mobile network O2 on the UK launch of Disney+, which represents a new chapter in the way Disney delivers our timeless stories to fans.”
