Tyson Fury’s co-promoters Frank Warren and Bob Arum have denied comments made by Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn about fight talks taking place.
The two British heavyweights now hold all four major heavyweight world titles between them and could meet in an historic undisputed clash.

Hearn previously told talkSPORT: “There have been plenty of conversations with Bob Arum [Fury’s US co-promoter] and MTK [Fury’s management company]. We are happy to do the deal now for the winner of that fight…
“Maybe we do two fights? Maybe we do one abroad; we could go to Vegas, could go somewhere else and then in the summer, return back to the UK.
“The key is to make the fight. But we are happy to make that fight now with Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder – as an option. We don’t mind that. We don’t care who wins.
“We just want the belt; AJ just wants to be undisputed.”

Arum responded by telling reporters: “Fury vs Joshua is never going to happen. Kubrat Pulev is going to knock Joshua out so why would I talk to Eddie, who I love dearly, about a Joshua vs Fury fight?
“I think Pulev wins and then I negotiate with myself to do a Pulev vs Fury fight.
“Let’s make this crystal clear, I am co-promoter of Tyson and the other co-promoter is Frank Warren.
“I would not talk to Eddie about a fight without Frank’s participation. Frank’s never even talked with Eddie.”
Frank Warren concurred: “Bob Arum and I did a call last night with the press. And, as Bob said, there’s been no conversations that have taken place.
“Nor can they take place unless all interested parties sit round the table together.
“What he’s saying, Eddie Hearn, is untrue. Untrue, lie, whatever you wanna call it, it just didn’t happen…
“Do we want the fight? Of course we want the fight. But it’s gonna be something that’s gonna be done collectively.”
