Alisson Becker has linked up with another club over the winter break… but it’s nothing for Liverpool fans to worry about.
With the Premier League introducing a mid-season break for the first time this season, Reds stars have been given time off to do as they please ahead of their trip to Norwich next week.
But Alisson has shunned a beach holiday and is instead back in Brazil maintain ing his fitness with former club Fluminense, where his older brother, Muriel, plays.
He trained with some of the club’s youngsters while Muriel and the first team prepared for their Copa Sudamericana clash in Rio de Janeiro.
Alisson has been keen to keep a low profile back in his homeland and reportedly asked media not to photograph him while he trains with another club.
One snapper, however, couldn’t resist taking a pic of him in Fluminense gear.
Alisson was also at the Maracana on Wednesday to cheer on Muriel in the Copa Sudamericana clash with Unión La Calera, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
He is expected to to remain in Brazil for the rest of the week before returning to Merseyside.
Liverpool next play against Norwich on February 15 looking to edge ever closer to a first ever Premier League title.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently sitting 22 points clear at the top, with 13 games left to play.
