Jorge Masvidal has already proven to be the baddest mother f****r in all of UFC and is now showing his humanitarian side.
The welterweight is heading Down Under as part of his ‘BMF’ tour and will use proceeds from his visit to help fight the Australia bushfires.

Since September at least 23 people have died in the Australia bushfires and now strong winds that have changed direction are hampering efforts to contain them
It is one of the most devastating disasters in modern history and at least 24 people have died since the fires began in September. This past week, air quality in the capital Canberra was rated the worst in the world.
The no.3 ranked welterweight is visiting the country in February and, in addition to donating money to the aid work, used Twitter to say he actually wants to put out the devastating fires.
“I’ll be in #Australia in February and would like to help,” he wrote. “Proceeds from my visit will go to help but I also want to physically help put out the fires #theresurrection.”
He later re-tweeted someone telling him that strong winds had further whipped up the fires and simply wrote: “This is scary.”
Whether Masvidal will be allowed on the front line, so to speak, is unknown.
Although the fires have been burning since September, things recently reached fever pitch in Australia with now a large percentage of the country burning.
Wildlife like kangaroos and koala bears have been savaged and it’s believed millions of animals have died as a result of the fires.
Masvidal has had a banner year in the UFC with three huge victories over Darren Till, Ben Askren and Nate Diaz to his name that have put him in realm of superstar, meaning his profile could help make a difference.
When he does return to the octagon, it’s believed he’ll either see a shot at Kamara Usman’s welterweight title or he’ll meet Conor McGregor in a money-spinning contest.
Let’s hope Australia get’s its own windfall that it can out to good use thanks to Masvidal’s visit.
